Emily Malcom, based out of Auburn, Alabama, has had a deep passion for discovering the wisdom found in the Bible since she was fourteen. It was at this age she realized the entire Bible, all 66 books, every chapter, every verse – they were all one continuous love story of God pouring out His mercy over and over again for a creation that is hopelessly lost without Him. All those writings, the histories, the psalms, the prophecies, the letters – those Words became flesh and dwelt among us so that we might understand fully the nature of God’s unrelenting love for us.
Writing became a way to make sense of these profound, overwhelming truths. Writing helped her to explore themes, document revelations, and interpret passages. Writing became a way to memorialize God’s goodness in her own life, to place stakes marking her own spiritual journey, to build altars of paper as a way to remember God’s truths when the enemy came to lie and confuse.
Emily currently works as an architectural designer, but in her free time, she leads small groups, writes devotionals, and serves alongside her husband Gus, the College Pastor at Parkway Baptist Church in Auburn, Alabama.
